This page explains what Noverlay collects when you use this website and the free scan, and what we do with it.
What the free scan form collects
- Your name, your email address and the website address you enter.
- Your confirmation that you agree to receive the report by email.
What the scan stores
We use these details only to run an automated accessibility check of up to three pages of the website you entered and to email you the report. The scan loads those pages the way a visitor would. It does not log in, submit forms or change anything on your site.
We keep the request, the scan results and the report so we can answer your follow-up questions. You can ask us to delete them at any time by writing to hello@noverlay.com.
How the report reaches you
The report is sent to the email address you entered, with a copy to our own inbox. Your request is passed to an automated workflow that runs the scan and sends the email. We use a few service providers to do this, and they handle your details only for that purpose: Cloudflare hosts this website, GitHub runs the scan and Resend delivers the email. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.
Spam protection
To limit abuse, we count requests per visitor using a one-way hash of the network address. The hash is held in memory for about an hour and is not stored with your request.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Write to hello@noverlay.com.
